Event Library
Manage your events here. Create, update and add layouts to events.
You can organise your event list in a few different ways.
- Venue select: If you have multiple venues within your organisation you will see a dropdown towards the top left. Note this will not be shown if you have a single venue.
- Filter by: "Current Events" or "Past Events" (based on the event date).
- Sort by: Click the headings to sort by "Event Name", "Start Date" or "Updated" fields. You can choose ascending or descending as required.
Good to know: How you sort and view your event library is on a per user basis. If you change to "Current Events" and sort by "Event Name" ascending, this won't affect how any other users see their event list.
Create your first event
Start by creating an event. Once you've added an event you can then start creating layouts.
Select from your available venues. Then add an event name, start & end date.
Top tip: Think of events as folders for layouts. Each layout belongs to an event. You can create multiple layouts across the various spaces at your venue.
Update event settings
Look out for the three dots menus throughout the app to access options and settings.
- Update: Edit the event name and the start and end date.
- Duplicate: This also creates a copy of all layouts within the event. Useful if you want to use an existing event as a starting point for a new one.
- Delete: Deleting the event cannot be undone. Make sure you really want to remove it. You will be prompted to confirm.
Create a layout
You can create layouts using any of the spaces at your current venue. Each event can contain up to 20 different layouts.
- Add layout details: Enter a layout name and choose a space from the available options at your venue.
- Choose a template: Either start from an empty space plan or use one of your pre saved templates as below...
Using layout templates
You can create a series of templates for any layouts that you might use regularly. You can set up objects, labels, dimensions, layer settings and more to save time and create consistency with trusted configurations as your starting point.

Good to know: Layout templates are organised by space. When saving and loading templates you'll only see those related to whichever space you are currently in.
Saving layout templates
From within the editor you can save a layout template at any time. This will save your current layout as a reusable template that can be selected as a starting point when you create a new layout, instead of starting from an empty space.

How to update your existing layout templates?
- Create a new layout: Using the layout template as a starting point.
- Make your changes: Edit the layout as you would any other in the editor.
- Save as layout template: Select "Overwrite Existing" and find the template you wish to replace.

Update layout settings
Look out for the three dots menus throughout the app to access options and settings.
- Open: Opens the selected layout in the editor.
- Rename: Update the layout name.
- Duplicate: The layout can be duplicated within the current event, or to a separate event at the same venue. This can be useful for reusing layouts across events.
- Share: Update the share settings for this layout. You can find more information here
- Delete: Deleting the layout cannot be undone. Make sure you really want to remove it. You will be prompted to confirm.
Layout History
Under each layout card you can click the last updated timestamp eg "Updated 1 hour ago" to view a summary of the update history. This gives you the following information -
- Who created the layout: This will be the name of one of your team.
- Who last updated the layout: A new entry will only be added for the same user if the update was made more 30 minutes after the previous one. Otherwise the last updated time will just be updated. Since the layout is saved constantly on every action, this avoids filling the history. You will always be able to see the person who updated the layout regardless.
- Comments added or replied to: Once you've shared your layout you'll see an entry for any comments added or replied to. Useful for quickly tracking when comments were made.
- Select other actions: Including renaming a layout and updating its sharing permissions.
