Dashboard Overview

Event Library

View all the events at your currently selected venue. Select an event to view all its layouts and create new ones.

  • Organise by venue: If you have access to multiple venues you will see a dropdown to toggle between them.
  • Filter & sort: Filter by current or past events, then sort by name, start date or last updated.

Top tip: Think of events as folders for layouts. Each layout belongs to an event. You can create multiple layouts across the various spaces at your venue

Venue Showcase

Create curated sets of layouts to showcase your venue.

Layout Templates

You can create a series of templates for each space at your venue. You can set up objects, labels, dimensions, layer settings and more to save time and create consistency.

Every time you create a new layout, choose one of your templates or start from a blank space.

Object Library

Manage your bespoke library of objects that are drawn and added by the VenueCAD team.

  • Request new objects: At any time you can request new objects and we'll add those to your collection.
  • Organise your library: Update and rearrange your objects so you can quickly access those you use most often.

Space Library

During the onboarding process, our team will have precisely drawn and configured your spaces, including default labels and various optional layers for power, AV, fire exits, and more.

Your Space Library lets you customise the following -

  • Max Capacities - Each space detects how many chairs are placed within its area. You can then optionally display warnings in the Layout Details panel in the editor when the capacity of your current space is exceeded.

  • Layers - The VenueCAD team can draw your space with as many layers as required. Here in the Layers section, you can control their default visibility.

  • Restricted Zones - You can designate certain areas within your floor plan to be off-limits for object placement. The VenueCAD team will draw these areas as overlays; when a user intersects a restricted area, a red highlight and warning will appear.

  • Dimensions & Labels - During onboarding, the VenueCAD team will add a series of default dimensions and labels to each space as required.

View Billing

Manage billing for your account, including accessing invoices and subscription details.

Good to know: Only users that you've added to your team with specific user privileges can access the billing section.

Manage Users

Create individual user logins for everyone on your team.

  • Venue access: If you have multiple venues across your organisation you can limit access for each user to specific venues.
  • User permissions: Assign users either admin for full access, or standard permissions where you have granular control over access to some of the key features in the dashboard.

Good to know: Only users that you've added to your team with specific user privileges can access the manage users section.
