Layout Templates
Create presets for commonly used setups for each space.
Saving layout templates
You can create a series of templates for each space at your venue. You can set up objects, labels, dimensions, layer settings and more to save time and create consistency.
From within the editor simply head up to the top left menu and select "Save As Layout Template".
Now whenever you create a new layout, you can use your template as a starting point.
Good to know: Layout templates are organised by space. When saving and loading templates you'll only see those for the space that you have selected.
How to update your existing layout templates?
- Create a new layout: Using the layout template as a starting point.
- Make your changes: Edit the layout as you would any other in the editor.
- Save as layout template: Select "Overwrite Existing" and find the template you wish to replace.
Managing your layout templates
Within the layout templates section you will see dropdowns to filter by space and (if you have multiple venues) by venue. From here you can -
- Edit Template: Opens the layout template in the editor so you can make changes and save to overwrite.
- Rename: Update the name of the layout template.
- Delete: Delete the layout template.
A note on user permissions
Access to the Layout Templates section can be restricted based on the user permissions of each member of your team.
If you see a yellow warning message such as the example below, this means your user account has read only access to this section of the dashboard. You will be able to view but not update or delete within this section. Contact your account admin for full access.
